Financial Administrator

Job Description:

Nosy, curious and prying when it comes to how everyone spends company money? Been described as a “Know It All” because you’re street-smart in finance and have a head for figures? If so, this position is for you. As Financial Administrator, you’ll be responsible for more than just preparing, recording, reconciling, auditing and delivering financial data to assist us with our daily, monthly and annual accounting. You’ll also support our CEO with day-to-day operations, ensuring the integrity, security, confidentiality and accountability of our company’s financial accounts and records.


Primary Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Utilizing computers and accounting software; proficient in advanced MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; extremely knowledgeable in maintaining accounting books and records in QuickBooks
  • You are an artist and magician with PPT and Excel (report, presentations and forecast etc.)
  • Assisting with the preparation, review and administration of external reporting requirements
  • Maintaining XBRL tags for 10-K and 10-Q filings including at least an annual refresh as new taxonomies are released
  • Performing reviews of purchase accounting and related disclosures for new acquisitions
  • Carrying out account reviews of certain corporate-level or consolidated accounts such as derivatives, bad debt reserves and capital lease tests
  • Participating in monthly review of financial statements and results
  • Assisting Investor Relations with the preparations of financial presentations
  • Preparing Purchase Order requests
  • Providing various balance sheet reconciliations including: AR, AP, Cash, Intangibles, Fixed Assets and employee advances
  • Payroll preparation and processing
  • Accounts Payable
  • Processing Expense Reports
  • Variance analysis and monthly trend commentary
  • Daily and weekly cash position reporting
  • Organizing and communicating financial and business details clearly, correctly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment


Position Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 2-3 years of work experience including public accounting experience (CPA, CFA and SE)



  • Experience with SEC reporting and related requirements
